103 defendants (95 men and 8 women)
Offences: s.16? (1); s.30 (78); s.31 (2); s.35 (1); s.38 (89); s.40 (1), Total offences 213
Prosecutions by care workers (s.38) occurred in: care home for learning disabilities (12), community (18), hospital (12), care home for elderly (20), prison (1).
Defendants were aged between 18 - 86
Number acquitted where known - 5
Sentenced at Magistrates court - 1
47 pleaded guilty (where plea was known)
Of those where outcome was known, 74 received a sentence of imprisonment (not including suspended imprisonment) - the longest being for Ferdos Rabani who was imprisoned for 24 years
Victims were aged between 15 - 90 and the majority had learning disabilities
