The following guidelines are all you'll need to start creating pages on the Wikimental database.

Editing a page

Any page except the Main Page can be edited. To edit any page which you are reading:

  • Click "edit" at the top of the page.
  • Make your changes.
  • Click "save".

Adding a new page

First, make a link to your new page:

  • Go to the page where your new page belongs (e.g. if you are adding a case, go to the caselaw index page).
  • Click "edit".
  • Add an internal link (see below) to your proposed page.
  • Click "save".

Now make your new page:

  • Click on the red link which you have created.
  • Type your page.
  • Click "save".

Adding an internal link (to another Wikimental page)

When editing the page, just place two square brackets at each side of the page name, e.g. [[Mental health caselaw]] becomes Mental health caselaw

Adding an external link (e.g. to Bailii)

  • After the website address, leave a space and type the website name.
