Re PS (An Adult); City of Sunderland v PS [2007] EWHC 623 (Fam)

Under inherent jurisdiction the court made orders that (1) PS could lawfully be prevented from leaving residential care unit (2) a receiver would be appointed without the need for a separate application to the Court of Protection.
