Appeal against murder conviction The appellant argued that his murder conviction was unsafe because his mental health problems had not properly been considered. The extension of time application (of over 21 years) was refused, as was leave to appeal (his mental health problems were well known at the time, and it had quite clearly been a drug-fuelled attack).
