Reference Guide to the Mental Health Act 1983

A new Reference Guide was published in England to coincide with the coming into force of the new Code of Practice on 1/4/15.

(No reference guide has been published for Wales.)

Previous

Reference Guide (2008 edition). This was published on 17/9/08 and explained the Act and secondary legislation as the law stood on 3/11/08.
