Mental Health Tribunal Hearings Solicitor/Caseworker

GHP Legal is a large multi-disciplinary high street solicitors' practice serving a client base stretching across more than 10 counties in England and Wales.

We are looking to recruit a solicitor/caseworker with particular experience of tribunal work, ideally an accredited panel member who is able to represent clients at Mental Health Tribunal hearings immediately.

However, applications are welcome from both qualified and non-qualified individuals who are dedicated, hard-working and enthusiastic.

Our mental health team specialises in:

  • Mental Health Tribunals and Hospital managers' meetings
  • County court displacement of nearest relative applications
  • Human rights applications & judicial review
  • Court of Protection applications
  • Habeas corpus
  • Deprivation of Liberty Safeguards (DOLS)
  • Treatment and post-discharge care provision

Our highly specialised and qualified team of lawyers regularly act for patients in hospitals and nursing homes across North Wales, Mid Wales, Shropshire and the North West; therefore, access to a car and a clean driving licence are essential.

This vacancy has been created due to the demand for representation in the area.

Salary is dependent upon experience.

Please email your CV and covering letter to vacancy@ghplegal.com or alternatively post your application to The Practice Manager, GHP Legal, 26-30 Grosvenor Road, Wrexham LL11 1BU.
