He later died of smoke inhalation at his home in March 2016. This case was brought by the deceased’s daughters, on the basis that Bromley’s out of hours social worker knew that their father was at risk but failed to offer urgent help. The Court’s ruling means the family have now been fully vindicated in this long battle. Carolynn Gallwey acted for the Claimants."
