Solicitor / Legal Executive (Court of Protection, York)

Switalskis have a new vacancy for a Solicitor/Legal Executive within our Court of Protection Department at our flagship York office. The successful candidate will work alongside Susan McKendry, Director, and her team, on Court Protection cases concerning patients who lack capacity to make decisions about their care, residence, contact, medical treatment, consent to sexual relations and deprivation of liberty.

The Court of Protection department as a whole specialises in both the health and social care aspects of the Court of Protection as well as the financial aspects. The team deals with a wide range of matters, including serious medical treatment, Court of Protection applications, deprivation of liberty challenges and community care issues.
