MAPPA guidance "This Guidance on MAPPA has been issued by the Secretary of State for Justice under the CJA 2003 in order to help the relevant agencies in dealing with MAPPA offenders. These agencies are required to have regard to the Guidance (so they need to demonstrate and record their reasons if they depart from it)." Superseded by HMPPS, 'MAPPA Guidance' (March 2023).

Updates

The list of updates from the Gov.uk website is reproduced on the earlier version of this page: HMPPS, 'MAPPA Guidance' (24/11/21).

Date

This document states "Updated May 2022" on its first page. However, the Word document was last updated on 31/8/22 and it was first seen on the Gov.uk website on 1/9/22. The Gov.uk web page still inaccurately states that it was last updated on 24/11/21.
