Northumbria University has exciting opportunities for mental health Solicitors and/or Barristers to work as Associate Lecturers on a full/part time basis.

Contemporary demands for workplace learning and development of the mental health workforce has led to the need for people with an expertise and willingness to share their knowledge and experience to practitioners. You will work collaboratively with academic and clinical colleagues to support the Law School’s expanding mental health law programmes which currently include the UG Certificate in Mental Health Law & Practice, the PG Certificate in Professional Practice (Mental Health) and the Bolt-On programme for trainee Multi-Professional Approved Clinicians (MPACS).

You should submit a CV and covering letter which should include details of relevant professional practice experience. If you have a background in teaching in Higher Education you should include research/education statements, and grants and publications list, highlighting your highest quality research outputs up to a maximum of 4 and providing of the top 2 research outputs (Journal/book chapter/practice-based portfolio).
